Letter from a College Student Home for Summer Break
I just moved back home after spending a year away at college. It's hard for me to adjust.
I still find myself looking for signs on the door that means the occupants need privacy. I miss that option, closing the door and putting a hair tie on the door knob and getting privacy from your roommate. I wish my parents were that considerate!
I no longer have a fridge three feet from my bed filled with beer.
No longer does my phone ring at 3 o'clock in the morning with someone wanting me to go party with them!
I'm tired of vacation! I'm ready to get back to hitting the books!
(Folks, don't be discouraged about sending your sons and daughters off to school. This girl is probably a future supreme court justice.)
